My entry for

's Autumn/Winter Fai Contest!

The idea was to draw/paint Fai with something related to autumn or winter... I originally drew this to be just autumn, but I realized that with the design on his sweater, that I'd better incorporate winter too.

So you can think of this as kind of the period between autumn and winter... The leaves are still falling, but we're beginning to see the first flurries of snow.

I was iffy about drawing Fai with something autumn at first... Of course, he's usually in blues, and he's from a cold country so snowscapes are what's common. But that also means that the autumn thing is a bit more original for him. I thought the colors my clash, but I think I got things to work out well together.

Well, I'll let you guys be the judges!

I enjoyed working on this piece very much--Fai is a joy to draw, (He's just such a beautiful man

) and the serene feel was uplifting to me. <3 I love this piece very much.

I think I have been improving on drawing Fai himself as well... He's looking more Fai. ^_^

...And I just luff his hair.
