Entranced by the Rain

=w= It has been raining for the past few days~

And it's my birthday. There was rain and the first tree I noticed with some autumn leaves.

Oooooh, today was lovely. <3

And this painting has been BEGGING ME to finish it. So I had to say no to OG for a day or so to finish it. >w< I started it before Round 2 winners were even announced...

Little birthday gift to myself, you could say... I tried to push myself harder on this piece, especially in the face. Aki's face came out more on the realism side... What do you guys think? Like it or not so much? I went ahead and included some other subtle details that I really think worked well. The background is kinda shoddy though, and I could have put more work into her clothes... T_T But agh, it's done!

This is kind of a me/Aki... Aki with glasses is supposed to represent more me myself. >w< And I love putting angel wings on things.

Tomorrow I'll make this into my new journal header... I LUFFS DA RAIN. *w*
