So...been inspired by a lot of Evanescence lately, obviously. This song is one of my favorites, as well as it being my favorite music video of Evanescence's. It is sooooo lovely.

NOTE: INSPIRED by the song and incorporated some elements of the video, but NOT meant to be an exact copy. HECK YES I TOOK ARTISTIC LIBERTIES.

Been upping my supply of copic markers, yay me! I recently bought a ton of blues and wanted to do a very blue picture. Here we go.

Trying some new techniques here too... I find I don't really like leaving white space for a highlight with dark hair, so I tried gel pen over it... Turned out ok, but I think I may try something different next time.

ANOTOMY ISSUES!! Aki's head looks too big and her legs lok too chubby. DX I think her hand is the right size though!! I made my sister model for me so I could get that arm to look right. >w>;; And her mouth came out weird. DX *COMPLAIN*

FYI on the character herself... Skintone and hair color were changed slightly for this picture. Aki's hair is usually redder and her skin usually healthier/less emo looking. Yay for color bending!

The flowers were fun to color!! Actually just about everything was... And then I ran out of my baby blue and COULDN'T FINISH IT FOR A FEW WEEKS OMG UNTIL I GOT A NEW ONE. DX (Can't find replacement ink around here... And I have to travel out of town for Copics... >w>;; ) BUT IT'S FINALLY DONE, ENJOY!
