Literature Text

Enter the grace and beauty that is planet Virgo. Capital planet of the Spica system, this planet is seen as a glowing light blue pearl from afar that many praise above others.
Virgo’s capital city, Athena, rests on the shores of the vast lake Zircon, and is a popular and valuable port planet-wide. The city is filled with thousands of buildings, all made of the same zircon-based light blue marble. Among the massed, blue city one can make out autumn trees dotted here and there between the buildings. At Athena’s concert hall and at the royal palace are many figures of architecture, mostly of winged angels.
Visible beyond the lake are the Hestia mountains, towering beacons to the sky. From the mountains one can hear the enchanted music of what is said to be the spirits of the planet’s most gifted deceased musicians. The music is enchanted such that it changes according to the mood of the listener.
From the mountains to the lake falls towering waterfalls, so many that from the depths of the lake emerges a heavy bluish mist that rises and engulfs the mountains and into the clouds, giving the planet it’s pearly-blue color.
Towering above the city is the royal palace, the grandest sight throughout the whole planet, bedecked with more beauty and charm than one had ever thought imaginable.
The rooms within are pleasant and comfortable, and from the balcony of the first princess’s room one can easily make out Virgo’s two moons hanging like glowing ghosts in the autumn night.
Another descriptive exercise for creative writing class. We were assigned to describe a place, and I chose a place I knew very well in my head--Planet Virgo from the Sailor Moon RP I used to participate in. Writing this gave me some troubles, since I wanted to do it in spacial order but it was hard to pick where to move to next from one aspect to another. XP I'm still not too happy with this, but oh well...
