I will be selling this and others as iron-on t-shirt transfers. (Printed on a kind of paper that you can use to iron the image onto any fabric surface.) I'll include instructions on how to do it.
The printed version will have no watermark and a plain white background. (Which becomes clear when you iron it on) The colored background I have now is just my personal idea of what color t-shirt this might go on, but the purchaser may put it on whatever colored fabric surface they'd like to. (I will try to have examples of what the transfers will look like on different types of fabric--my experience has been that they are slightly transparent.) The printed version will also have my deviantart address somewhere on there, but much smaller, not covering anything, and not as obnoxious as the watermark here. (I'm just protecting my artist rights, since I plan to sell this image. )
The only real pirate anime that I know of is One Piece, which I haven't seen much of at all... (Nor am I very interested) So for this one I drew inspiration from other classice fantasy sources with pirates in them. (And also Pirates of the Carribean, a bit. ) I think coming up with a female pirate outfit is hard, but I think this came out ok. She doesn't look to 'renaissance', does she? I just saw a pirate girl style similar to this in a book once... Dunno how accurate it is. Although, I do REALLY love this chibi overall. Gotta be one of my faves so far. X3
(According to *silver-dragonetsu, this one looks like ~Alchemist-Aru. Makes sense to me... Evil brunette with a sharp pointy. And the expression does remind me of her. X3 Love ya Aru! <33 )

welcome! Ummm wel ninjas are okay but pirates are so much more diverse with diferent garb and styles with ninjas they pretty much just have on black clothes and to me they are kinda boring, but i know some people who prefere ninjas over pirates??? it's a tough arguement!
I myself, when asked the question "Pirate or Ninjas?" will usually repsond with 'niether'. X3 (Or witches, elves, etc.) But there are things I like about both the pirate genre and the ninja genre.
Ninjas I like: "Ask a Ninja", 3 Ninjas, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc. (Lots of the early 90's ninja movies are very good. X3 ) Pirates I like: Pirates of the Carribean, and Zelda: The Windwaker. ...That's pretty much it. Although I gotta say I love a pirate as a villain in a good fantasy. (Like Peter Pan, etc.) So just for the fantasy aspect I might have to lean toward pirates overall. But if it's a matter of a FIGHT BETWEEN Pirates and Ninjas, the ninjas would win sure thing.
