First in my series of Chibis for AnimeIowa '08!

I will be selling this and others as iron-on t-shirt transfers. (Printed on a kind of paper that you can use to iron the image onto any fabric surface.) I'll include instructions on how to do it.

The printed version will have no watermark and a plain white background. (Which becomes clear when you iron it on) The colored background I have now is just my personal idea of what color t-shirt this might go on, but the purchaser may put it on whatever colored fabric surface they'd like to. (I will try to have examples of what the transfers will look like on different types of fabric--my experience has been that they are slightly transparent.) The printed version will also have my deviantart address somewhere on there, but much smaller, not covering anything, and not as obnoxious as the watermark here. (I'm just protecting my artist rights, since I plan to sell this image. ;) )

I happen to really like priestess (or, more correctly, Miko) characters in anime/manga. Namely Kikyou (Inuyasha) and Rei Hino (Sailor Moon). They always seem to be strong, beautiful, and in-tune to a supernatural or spiritual force that makes them stronger than they appear to be. (And they usually have to abide by a strict moral code in order to maintain it.) I feel it is something I can relate to.

But yes, trying to go with something simple and clean looking for a t-shirt pic, which is the opposite of my usual style... How am I doing guys?

It's not supposed to be Kikyou though. I admit she was inspiration, but the design was intended to be original.

Awwww.....Is cute! ^_^ Oi, and for idea's, maybe something Mecha for those Mecha lovers? It'd give and opportunity to try different styles and such, know?

Thinking about maybe a mecha pilot or a cyborg character. Not much of a mecha fan nor a drawer... If I have a reference I can do ok, but I can't make that stuff up from my brain. @_@

It looks really cute! I think it would look nice on a T-shirt, especially a light pink one. I bet they sell very well at Anime Iowa! :D
