The Magic Gift Within My Hands

Ever since I was little, I wanted to have magic
But magic isn't real
So I picked up a pencil, and started to draw
I drew princesses, unicorns, and witches
I drew for love, I drew for hate, I drew for sadness
I drew and drew and drew, refining and sharpening my skills, as well as my pencil
Until one day, I woke up, and realized...

I have magic.

I have a magic gift within my hands
A gift within my eyes
A gift within my mind
A gift that is mine
I am thankful, and I cherish this gift
And I will continue to work hard to refine my magic gift

Just something I was thinking about one day. Thought this would be a neat idea, and I definately had fun with the rendering and coloring...

Of course, it was after I finished that I realized I must be on drugs or something.

LOL, not really, but perhaps I went a little too overboard with the colors...? I'd really like to have some comments and suggestions on this.

The character here is pretty much Aki, but the image wasn't intended to be related to any of the RPs I use her in. It's more about myself.
